Well, I'm here to clog up Twitter and RSS feeds just a bit more, because I want one of you to take this book home with you.
I am giving away my Tiger Lily ARC free to a good home. Believe me, you'll want it. I won't go into all the reasons why (hey, that's what the review is for), but I'll give you three - Tiger Lily, Tinker Bell, and Peter Pan. When I read the original Peter Pan tale as a kid, I was staunchly a Wendy fan and no one else, but Ms. Anderson has rearranged my alliances entirely.
In case any of you are unfamiliar with the term, "ARC" means Advanced Reader Copy. An ARC is not the finished product, so there may be changes between the ARC and the finished book, but nothing major. Usually it's things like typos and sentence structure and stuff. The ARC also has a different cover, so don't freak out and think I'm trying to rip you off or something. Not that I really can rip you off, because I'm giving it to you for free, duh.
Entering in to win is very simple. All you have to do is:
- Complete one or more of the tasks in the Rafflecopter below.
- Live in the continental US (I'm so sorry, international readers, but I can't afford the shipping).
- Not cheat, because I will catch you and disqualify you.
- Answer my email notifying you that you've won WITHIN 48 HOURS.
Now, for your viewing and listening pleasure, a very pretty version of "Second Star to the Right" that I can imagine Tiger Lily listening to in her stone house on the cliff.

Just tweeted the book, blog and the rest. I understand how some books get under the skin. Hope this helps get it out there. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) And good luck to you.
DeleteThank you for the giveaway! I am so excited to read this book!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it lives up to your expectations. :)
DeleteI personally love Tinker Bell. She was my favorite part growing up. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, you'll love her even more after reading TIGER LILY. She's such a gem.
DeleteI loved the idea of never growing up. As a teen, I'm excited to grow up and be an adult. Adults have a lot of responsibility, but they also have careers and money to buy books and cars to go places. Whenever I watch Peter Pan though it reminds me of how much fun it is to be a kid and every time I watch it I have that crazy feeling that I never want to grow up.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, that feeling will only grow stronger as you get older. I thought everyone who told me that was stupid, but it's true.
DeleteGreat giveawy! I always wanted to take a look at this book! :)
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds like a lot of fun, I love it when we get a different POV to a well known story and I can't wait to read Tiger Lily's
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity.
I don't really remember Peter Pan but I do remember how wonderful it was to watch them fly an go to a magical place it takes kids imaginations to a whole new level :)
ReplyDeleteI love when Peter showed Wendy the Mermaid place:) and when they flew to Neverland:)
ReplyDelete-JennyC

I think it's "nice" that this book would part of a giveaway. I've read such great reviews on it and I'm dying to get my hands on a copy. If I don't win, it's "cool" I'll end up buying by the end of summer to read.
ReplyDelete"Thank you"?
DeleteBest part in Peter Pan... probably when Peter fights Captain Hook.
ReplyDeleteI sooooo want to read this! It sounds AMAZING! I love it when Peter save Tiger Lily from Captain Hook :)
ReplyDeleteWell, expect a twist on that in the book!
DeleteI would love this book! I'm glad you liked it :0
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was the hope/thought that I could runaway to a land with pirates & mermaids instead of having to grow up & get a job lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway :)
Gah, wouldn't that be grand? Of course, without my job, I wouldn't have this blog!
DeleteI would have to say Tinkerbell. She has always been my fave growing up and even to this day.
ReplyDelete- Beckie
You'll adore her in this book.
DeleteDO WANT! In high school I was Wendy in a production of Peter Pan and ever since then it's been one of my favorite stories.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, this is Tiger Lily's story. Wendy's not exactly her BFF.
DeleteLooks so good! <3 I loved Tinkerbell in Peter Pan and I can't wait to see Tiger Lily's POV.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the giveaway! And if you don't get it, perhaps that's just a sign that you should buy it. ^_^
DeleteI've always liked the parts with the crocodile with the ticking clock. Love how he freaked captain hook and smee out every time they heard the ticking : ) I've heard such good things about this book and I'd love to see things from a different perspective. Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome! (And the ticking croc is in the book!)
DeleteI've always loved the Lost Boys and the scene in which Peter teaches Wendy and her brothers how to fly. I'm looking forward to reading the tale from another perspective! Thank you so much for the chance to win a copy!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome! And after reading your comment, all I could hear in my head was "He can fly! He can fly! ... He flewwww."

ReplyDeleteThen you'll love this version! She's so cool.
DeleteI love the lost boys! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember much about the story but reading everyone else's answers, I can't help but agree with them! :)
ReplyDeleteTinkerbell made the story amazing! (:
ReplyDeleteI know, right!
DeleteI think Tinkerbell was my favorite part of Peter Pan! Thanks for this amazing giveaway - I would love to win!

DeleteAwesome giveaway! New follower via GFC.
ReplyDeleteTiger Lily has gotten such rave reviews, I've got to check it out and review it for my blog. I thought she was the coolest part of the Peter Pan story. One of the things I love about the story is that the author of the book, JM Barrie, never grew up either-- the thought that his growth was stunted by emotional trauma from his mother always believing that he was his older brother who died in an accident. :-)
Come stop by my blog sometime!

I think I've heard that fact before, but thanks for sharing! And welcome to the blog. :)
DeleteI haven't read the book but my favorite part of the classic movies was the scene where Wendy first meets the mermaids.
