Rewind & Review (12)

Another short R&R, and not one I can blame on BEA! It just... is. This week was a good one for me. I had four days off (yay twelve-hour shifts!) and lazed about the house for all four. Lovely. For whatever reason, those four days didn't end up being very productive, blog-wise. Still not sure what that was all about. Anyways, here's the lowdown on the week.

Blog Posts You May Have Missed

I was very good in the stuff department this week. I only bought one book, and that was because Sunny and my mom were going to get it signed for me. As if I could pass up a signed book!

Stuff I Won
  • Spies and Prejudice by Talia Vance (from Egmont through LibraryThing)
  • Click to Subscribe by L.M. Augustine (from Kate Tilton @
  • SIGNED Insomnia by J.R. Johansson and swag (from J.R. Johansson via Twitter contest)

Stuff I Received
  • The Eye of Minds by James Dashner (from Random House)
  • Teardrop by Lauren Kate (from Random House)

Pretty awesome, right? Also, if you haven't heard of AudioSync, definitely checking them out. They're giving away two free downloads every week this summer! A big, big thanks to my mom, Sunny, Egmont, Library Thing, Katie Tilton, Random House, AudioSync, J.R. Johansson, and Leigh Bardugo!

Once again, I forgot to gather miscellaneous happenings for the week. Oops! Sorry! Here are three big things, at least.

Miscellaneous Happenings
  • My sister and mom met the Fierce Reads ladies on tour, and I lived through the vicariously.
  • Jennifer Nielsen released the cover and release date of the last book in her Ascendance Trilogy.
  • I met a middle-aged man at my Other Job who reads YA and MG lit. I want to be his friend now.

Also, Happy Father's Day to the world's best father! (Mine, in case you were wondering.)
